      “Toddler-friendly”

I was 0 years old and had no bedding or meals, but they provided white rice and furikake (sprinkles). They also provided a diaper pail in the room. There was no over-the-top hospitality, but it was thoughtful and considerate. The rooms, meals, and baths are all in line with the price, but I was satisfied.

“A hotel where you can spend time enjoying nature”

The room with an open-air bath was spacious and airy. I was looking forward to the bath attached to the room, but it took a long time to fill up with hot water, so I went to the large public bath. The next day, since I was a member of the Lilo Club, I was able to extend my stay and take my time. It was cold, but it was nice to have a cypress bath in the room. The hotel is not new, but the spacious front desk and interior of the hotel were comfortable for us who are calm and relaxed. After checking in, we enjoyed a welcome drink and roasted heart-shaped marshmallows over the hearth, and to my husband's delight, there was even a bottle of shochu available. The hotel is a bit far from downtown Yamaga, so it is a bit difficult to explore on foot, but you can relax at the hotel alone.

“Birthday Celebration & Mother's Day Present”

We had been planning an overnight trip to celebrate my mother and sister's birthdays and Mother's Day for several years, but had to cancel it due to the Corona disaster. This year, for the first time in a while, my daughter joined us and we went to Yamaga Onsen. We decided to stay in a guest room with an open-air bath this time. The room was spacious and had a great view, and the hot spring water was lukewarm and smooth. The food was light and very tasty. The kawara-yaki (tile-roasting) was a rare treat. Also, near the lobby, there were baked marshmallows and drink service, and you could choose a pattern for your yukata. I was able to relax and unwind.
