We had a lovely stay at this temple. It was a quite big room with a wonderful view to the garden. The meals were very tasty and the staff super friendly and nice. We had wished to stay longer, maybe next time. It's highly recommended!

Jimyoin is a beautiful temple with homely lodging and beautiful grounds. The vegetarian food (Shojin Ryori) was surprisingly tasty and the ability to order beer was a nice touch. It would have been a perfect stay if not for Typhoon Krosa rearing its ugly h

Jimyoin was really bad. It is not authentic at all and you can see the owners are just here to get tourists’ money, not to offer monks’ hospitality. It is basically a super expensive hotel with poor facilities and bad service.

It was a pleasure staying at Jimyoin. The service in the morning was lovely, the food and service delicious and the location was right in between the cemetery and the temple. The room over looked a pretty garden. A wonderful experience.

Badly soundproofed room. Torn shoji letting the cold pass. The hasty and unsightly service, one has the feeling of having to do with bureaucrats. By the way, very intrusive (many unsollicited entries in the room). I don't recommend this shukubo.
