This is a hot spring ryokan in the temple town for Kotohira-gu, a Shinto shrine dedicated to a god of the sea.
There are baths in a total of 15 locations within the ryokan with 2 differing hot spring types.
For dinner, guests can enjoy Japanese cuisine prepared by the head chef who won first prize in the Skill Grand Prix.

There are 2 types of hot springs available in the ryokan. The basement floor and the first floor garden each have their own large communal baths and open-air baths, where guests can indulge in the hot springs. Among the women's large communal baths, there is a flower bath with floating roses.
There are also private open-air baths on the 8th floor (single 45-minute session for JPY 2,200, tax not included).

Overall, I think I am highly satisfied. I was a little disappointed with the service. My mother could not wear snow shoes, so we asked her to bring slippers, but they were tattered. The woman who carried our luggage to the entrance porch was dragging our carry-on bag on the cobblestone pavement without a care. I could not give them a perfect score because they could be improved with a little care.

我が家は主人の仕事の関係で家族で旅行をしたことがなく今回が初めてでした。こちらを予約させていただいたものの、４人にはお部屋が狭いかなぁとか食事内容等、不安でしたが事前にお電話させていただくとお電話口の女性の方がとても印象が良く対応してくださったので安心しました。もちろん当日のフロントの方も感じよく対応してくださり、お出迎えのお抹茶も美味しかったです。お部屋も充分な広さでしたし、なにより夕食が個室で食べきれないほどのお料理が目にも舌にも美味しかったです。担当の方も一生懸命接してくださってて微笑ましかったです。朝食のバイキングも種類が豊富でどれも美味しく、中でも主人がカレーの美味しさに感動しておりました。お風呂も露天風呂がいくつもあり、バラ風呂は微かないい香りで何度も入りました。金比羅さんにもとても近くていい立地だと思います。家族４人のいい思い出が出来ました。本当にありがとうございました。

“If you are planning to stay in Kagawa or Shikoku, this is the place to go!”
1. This time, I used the hotel to relax and refresh myself alone, but I have stayed there with my family and others, and each time I think it is a "good ryokan hotel where I can be very satisfied with the total experience". When I planned my trip this time, I thought the price of 40,300 yen per night and two meals for one person might be a bit expensive, but when I returned home, I felt that I was glad I chose this hotel. I would definitely like to return again with my family, acquaintances, or just by myself. The large bath and the garden outdoor bath are the best and the most relaxing. In addition, the food and employee service are both good. This time, among several kinds of meals, we had the "basic kaiseki dinner of houraku-yaki" at the restaurant. We were satisfied, but since we have stayed at various high-class ryokan hotels, we really felt that the "appetizers (3 kinds)" were not impactful enough and that we would have liked more proper appetizers. Breakfast seemed more compact than before, but I was satisfied.
