This ryokan (traditional Japanese-style inn) is located by the source of Kompira Onsen (hot springs) and has been providing hospitality for guests since the end of the Edo Period. Situated at the center of the ryokan souvenir shop street, it is the best place to stay for visiting the temple. On the 7th floor there is a panoramic onsen.

Kompira-san, close by. The employees were very nice and happy. The facilities are old, but I enjoyed the rooftop bath. Thank you very much.

In fact, all of the guests who had made reservations except for my position cancelled theirs, so I was informed that the ryokan would be closed that day and that there was a new building nearby that I would be happy to take them there. I was surprised in a good way.

A historical hotel with less facilities . However, the location is quiet and convenient to the scenic spots.

“Conveniently located near Konpira Shrine”
Conveniently located near Konpira-gu Shrine for strolling and other activities. There is also a 7-Eleven nearby for quick shopping. Breakfast is Japanese and delicious. However, the room facilities are old and need to be separated. Also, the entrance to the parking lot was a little narrow and had been scraped off, so large vehicles should be careful.
