      “Cottages to enjoy nature”

It is a beautiful place surrounded by the mountains of Kusumi. It is so quiet at night that you cannot hear anything and the night sky is full of stars. You can relax in the open-air bath in the large bathroom looking up at the starry sky. The outside corridor back to your room may be cold in winter, but don't worry, you can wear a bench coat left in your room. The private bath was just the right temperature and we could see the starry sky. The last time we stayed here we had a BBQ, but this time the course meal was delicious.

“The view of Mt. Aso was spectacular.”

The view of Mt. Aso from the open-air bath was spectacular. The view from the room in the morning was also nice as it is located on a hill.

“Revisited after more than 10 years”

I used to use the hotel every 1-2 months, but this was my first return visit in over a decade. While some improvements can be seen, such as washing toilets and wifi, there is no way to hide the age-related deterioration of a quarter century of construction. In particular, the hardness of the bedding and restaurant chairs is not kind to the elderly. The open-air bath, which had previously left a good impression, was also disappointingly noisy with many guests from the attached campground and children swimming and diving in it. Dinner was a kaiseki meal, but it was hectic because almost all the dishes were served at once and some of them got cold.

      “I still like this place.”

This is my 90 year old father's favorite place to stay. We use this hotel every year during the birthday month of someone in the family. The view from the open-air bath is spectacular and the lukewarm water is the best. The staff is very helpful and the food is beautiful, delicate and very tasty. I always look forward to my next visit. I appreciate that they always change the menu for me because I cannot eat fish. I will be back again, and I look forward to working with you again in the future.

      “Good”

This accommodation provides a very different experience. Aptly named, the rooms are like wood cabins, spacious and well maintained. We opted for the BBQ dinner, which was satisfying.Breakfast is served buffet style. Next to the compound is a beer distiller
