幼児の食事にカレーライスがでました。視覚、味覚、嗅覚で味わう和食の傍ら、匂いがきついカレーライスが出たことに唖然としました。お子様メニューとはいえ、老舗旅館の花板の趣向に期待していましたが、揚げ物やフライドポテト中心で和食か洋食の選択肢すらないのは施設や接客が良かっただけに残念でした。

施設や接客は大変良く老舗旅館を堪能できます。但し夕食、朝食ともに素材を引き出す技や味付け、四季を感じる素材に欠け、美味しいと思えるレベルではないことはとても残念でした。

“Friendly Inn”
There were only a few rooms on two floors, and it was easy to get to the dining area and the baths quickly. The staff was all gracious and friendly, but I felt there were a little too few of them. When we arrived and were shown to our room, we were immediately provided with a yukata that matched our height, which was appreciated. The food was average for an upgrade, and nothing tasted particularly good. The open-air bath is good because it has no roof and gives a sense of freedom. The room construction is interesting, and it might be more enjoyable if there are 4 people in the room. I was generally satisfied with the cost performance.
