      Couple
Stayed 1 night in December 2022

“Too bad it's an inn that serves good food.”

I stayed in the new building but could not sleep due to noise coming through the window (a problem with the fittings). I was grateful that they changed the room I slept in, but they did not give me any notice when I checked out, and I left the ryokan with a lack of sleep. It's a shame for such a well-established ryokan that serves such delicious dinners and breakfasts.

Stayed 1 night in April 2021

“Present your Ryoma Passport to get a gift!”

Stayed in a single room for business use. The room is only for sleeping, so I don't mind the oldness of the room. I was able to soak slowly in the hot spring to refresh myself. By showing my Ryoma Passport at the time of payment, I received a gift of bottled tea and ponzu (Japanese citrus juice) at the store.

      “Very good”

Location of breakfastbuffet lacked in atmosphere, it felt like a touristtrap. The quality of food was not up to Japanese standard. Rooms were big, but the bathroom and toilet were therefore too small.

      “Exceptional”

Higher class hotel than the other i tried so everything is great but you do pay more. Kochi is a nice city with its castle and the beach and Iya valley is done in a one day escapade from Kochi. The room was a japanese style room, just really big for two
