More about Awaji Yumesenkei

Awaji Yumsenkei & Yumesenkei Besso Amanohara, the onsen hotel nestled in the land of Komoe on the eastern coast of Awaji Island, a resort island in the Seto Inland Sea, is easily accessible, being approximately 120 minutes away from Osaka and approximately 90 minutes away from Kobe.

Awaji Yumesenkei has a total of 60 guest rooms with great individuality, including those on the special floor Riraku, where each room has an ocean view and utilizes the warmth of natural trees to provide a modern taste to "Japanese-style," and Shotokaku rooms that gaze out on the yacht harbor.

Under the slogan of "The ocean you've been wanting to see is here," the Yumesenkei Besso Amanohara, created in December 2008, has 18 ocean view rooms, each equipped with its own private open-air bath.

Guests can savor an array of cuisines that lavishly use local ingredients such as seafood brought in from the nearby harbor and seasonal vegetables.

In the Tenkyu-no-Shizuku Bath of the Yuhinkaku, a maisonette-type bathing house where the sea, sky, and hot springs envelope the body, guests can enjoy a relaxing and freeing soak. Guests can enjoy visiting different hot springs by going through the beach corridor connecting the group hotels.

“After Corona, first stay in a long time”

The last time I stayed here was 3 years ago, just before Corona. This lodging is one of my favorite places because I can relax and soak in the hot springs and refresh myself. I used to stay in the Kaiseki and Nabe plans, but this time I chose the "Kamado Dining Bar Awamichi Special Kaiseki" plan for the first time. I had passed by "Baru Awamichi" many times and had been curious about it, so I took the plunge and chose it this time. We dined at the counter and were able to enjoy the food at a leisurely pace. I think I will choose it again next time. The room seemed to be well maintained and we had a comfortable stay. The only thing I would say is that the in-room refrigerator is a bit dated and filled with hotel items (drinks), making it almost impossible to put items purchased during the trip (souvenirs, etc.) in the refrigerator.

“I was able to relax and unwind.”

Stayed at Riraku on a special floor. The view is great right in front of the ocean, and there is a comfortable relaxing sofa. It was cloudy, so we could not see the sunrise. The large bath was nice and you could go to the New Awaji through a corridor. The food was as expected for dinner (fish was good as expected, but the meat was tough), but breakfast was very ordinary for the price. A little disappointing. The number of items was also small. The dried fish was difficult to eat because the skin was sticking to the net. The service staff told us that if we grilled the skin thoroughly, it would come off, but it just got burnt and the skin stuck to the net, which was disappointing for something that was so well grilled. I think it would be better to put a cookie sheet on the net or something. Overall, I think the price is reasonable. It was nice to get a discount with the national discount, but without it, I would have been less satisfied.

“It was as relaxing as I expected it to be.”

I stayed here for the first time to celebrate my birthday and wedding anniversary. The bath was just as we had expected, the hot spring bath was relaxing and the changing rooms were not so crowded, and we could use our towels freely. My daughter loved the massage chair in the lounge, which is exclusively for Raraku, and she used it many times to relieve her fatigue. The food, especially the dinner, could have been a little more elaborate and unusual, or something you can't find anywhere else. The celebratory sparkling wine and photos were very nice. Thank you very much.

      “Exceptional”

Excellent in all aspect. The hot spring on second floor was facing the ocean like a infinite pool. We went there on a full moon night and the lobby gave out free drinks.
