I heard that only one inn remains in Onneyu Onsen. Why, I wondered, would it be so good if the quality of the spring was so good? I wondered why. I hope it will continue for a long time.

It is located on the opposite bank of a river a short distance from a national highway, and is a quiet environment. With the sequential opening of the Asahikawa-Mombetsu Expressway, the volume of traffic over the Ishikita Pass has visibly decreased, and with the addition of Corona, the hot spring resort seems to be in a difficult situation, but this long-established Oe Honke has excellent facilities and the hospitality of the employees is excellent. The meals are plentiful, and the drinks, such as coffee and milk, are well selected. The hot spring baths are excellent, with a wide variety of bathtubs, including open-air baths. In the words of the Michelin Guide, this hotel is of a standard that would make you decide where to go for a stay. Five stars, no complaints.

Originally, my sister and I were going to be there, but two days before my parents decided to go as well, so we called them and they were able to get us an extra room. I was glad for the kind advice at that time! I was pleasantly surprised at how hard everyone worked to accommodate us on the day of our stay, and the bath was very nice. I would like to go back again!

This was my first time staying at the hotel. I made many inquiries and received very thorough answers. Thank you very much. In fact, I was surprised when I arrived at the inn. I felt that I might be a little out of place. Everything from the reception to the service was courteous. The food was very nice and delicious. The hot springs were great. I would like to go back again.

“I haven't been there in a long time.”
Corona has gone downhill, so my family and I went to a nearby location. I requested a Western-style room for my mother, who has weak legs. The room was spacious and comfortable with a great view. The buffet meal had a wide variety of food, and everyone in the family was satisfied. We were also able to borrow a cart to put the meals on, so my mother was able to take what she wanted by herself. There were almost no steps in the bath, so even my mother, who has weak legs, could enjoy the bath without worry.
