Accommodations in the Momiji Valley, listening to the murmuring of the river and the chirping of birds”
The inn is located in a maple valley, a little far from the main road, where you can hear the murmuring of the river and the chirping of birds. Due to the arrival time of our flight, we were running late for dinner, but they were courteous and very appreciative. Dinner was a seasonal menu using local ingredients. The sashimi in particular was fresh, thick and delicious. I think I am a heavy eater, but it filled me up and was more than worth the price. Breakfast was a Japanese-style menu consisting of rice, miso soup, fried eggs, and grilled fish. The building itself is a bit dated, but I didn't feel any inconvenience. The staff was very friendly and family oriented, and we had a very comfortable time. The leaves were just starting to change colors, so the view from the window was very picturesque.

温泉は最高でした！食事は食べきれなかったほどたくさん出していただきました。主人も残してしまったくらいです。おいしかったです。お建物に年期が入るのは仕方ないですが、申し訳ですが、掃除が隅隅までされてないのはわかりました。蛇口や洗面台の汚れは磨けば取れます。露天風呂、せめてクモの巣は取ってくださってたら…と思います。 赤ちゃんをつれてましたが、夜、ポットもなんだかキレイに見えず、使うのを控えて液体ミルクをあげました。翌朝ポットの中を見ると髪の毛が入ってました。これはほんとにあり得ません。 あと、到着したばかりの早々の案内、こちらが何歳であろうと客に違いはありません。タメ口は最初からいい印象はありません。 霧島温泉のお湯は最高でしたのでまたこの温泉街には来ます。が、残念ですが、こちらにはお邪魔しません…。
