I travel with my big family and book the Japanese and western room. It's big enough to lodge 4 adults. Though the decoration and the toiletries are not modern, it's well maintained. The open and indoor onsen are separated in entrance. That's not common in

“It was a room meal.”
I have stayed at many hotels in Kirishima, but this was my first time at the Castle Hotel. The temperature of the bath in the large bathroom was too hot at night and guests with children could not enter. The next morning, the bath was at the right temperature and the same guests were satisfied. I felt that a little more staff attentiveness would have been nice.
