This ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) blends the beauty of modern architecture with the tradition of the Taisho era (1912-1926). The garden with old pine trees is filled with the sound of sea. It also offers kaiseki (traditional multi-course dinner) with fresh ingredients.

It is a beautiful ryokan with an exquisite garden. I also loved the Karatsu-yaki displayed in their showrooms.

Gorgeous hotel, feels like a luxury to stay here. Service is great, the people are incredibly kind. The ceramic galleries are beautiful and you might end up taking some home! The 'hot springs' are just heated water, not the best onsen experience, but the f

“Disappointing bathhouse”
The traditional ryokan, building, facilities, service, food, and location were all satisfactory for the elderly couple. However, the most disappointing and decisive thing was the bathroom. It was not what you would call a large bathhouse, and it was full when four or five people were in it. The hair dryer in the changing room was not enough, so I have to lower my rating. For Japanese people, bathing is an important point that affects the impression of their stay. Although there may be restrictions due to the old building, we hope that improvements can be made.
