This was our second visit to Wan Wan Paradise and first time here. The check-in time after 3:00 p.m. was crowded, probably due to the inclement weather, but the smooth guidance and the front desk staff were very helpful. The large lobby was full of dogs, and my dog was very happy to see them. Dinner was served at the right time and was delicious. All the dogs were polite and docile, which was quite a sight. The staff were also very dog-friendly and made us feel at ease. We will use this hotel again.

Access is either by hotel or Tokai bus. About 10-15min from Izukogen station. Good quiet location close to Mt Omuro & Catcus Park. Buffet breakfast has very good & wide variety selection. Dinner Kaiseki is standard. Outdoor onsen very good though a

食事もお風呂もお部屋も大満足でした。アメニティーを自分でも持ってきていたので大丈夫でしたが、備え付けのシャンプーやボディーソープなどが全てＰＯＬＡで敏感肌でかぶれてしまうので、もう一種類用意してあったら良いなと思いました。 また犬連れに強いホテルなだけあって様々な工夫がされており、部屋に庭もあって犬がかなり寛いでくれて過ごしやすく安心しました。 改善点はホテル側ではなく予約サイト側の問題かもしれませんが、サイト上で小学生の子供の年齢を入力して予約したらホテルにとっては幼稚園向けの子供プランが予約されていたらしく、当日フロントで追加料金等を払って急遽調整することになりました。 予約の際にもコメント欄に念の為子供の年齢も書いておいたのでホテル側も予約プランの子供の区分が違うなら確認して欲しかったのと、予約サイトともしっかり情報共有して適切なプランで予約出来るようにして欲しいです。

初めての宿泊でした。本館には男性用の内風呂がなく、パッとしない露天風呂も部屋から１００メートル以上離れ、会席料理も量も食材もイマイチ、おまけにレストランへの浴衣着は禁止、シーズンオフ平日宿泊のホテルの割には２万円近い宿泊費は高いと思う。やはり評価がイマイチなホテルと思つた。ただ夕食後出かけたグランイルミは素晴らしく無料送迎はありがたかった。また朝、ロビー横の中庭の池の鯉の餌やりは楽しかつた。ちなみに鯉の餌１００円です。最後に色々な面んを少しずつ見直してくだされば今後評価が４以上の人気ホテルになるような気がします。そうなればまた宿泊したい。

“First Inn in Izu”
I think it is a good place for pets to stay, both in terms of facilities and environment. However, we were told upon arrival that dinner would be served at 8:00 p.m. without any advance notice, and we were too hungry. (I wonder if this is handled under Corona?). I am not sure if it was because of the kaiseki plan, but when I was hungry, the food came out late, which made me even more hungry. Also, the pillows were too thin, so I was also bothered by that. However, the breakfast was good.
