Wonderful experience for a visitor to Japan and to Miyajima. The service and food was excellent. A special thanks to our waiter Tom at dinner who explained both the food and Japanese etiquette. Our only complaint was the poor throw away chopsticks provided

This island is a lovely place and our daughter, 25 explored everywhere on her own. She loves it, she will love it more if not for the rain. The food, oysters are really gigantic size and yammy. The hotel is well located and food provided by the roykan is q

Gorgeous Ryokan, worth every penny. Very short walk to Tori gates and other sights. Definitely wear you Yaka to dinner and enjoy the onsen. Try and book a lake view room with private bath and request to have dinner served in your room
