When I checked in, I gave them my full name, but they said they didn't have a reservation and referred me to a nearby, easily mistaken affiliated hotel. I had no choice but to boot up my PC and show them my reservation confirmation e-mail, and it seems that they misheard my name and made a reservation. Do you have a similar name? Could you please check the status of people who have reservations for a week? I went out of my way to tell them that.... What a shame. In the room, there were peanuts from a previous guest, trash bags left behind, the paper holder was reinforced with cloth gumboots, and the shower curtain was covered with mildew. Perhaps it was the influence of Corona, but I feel that the quality of the previous Ribmax is gone. The situation continues to be difficult, but I hope that the situation will improve little by little.

Located quite near Himeji station (non-JR, great if you use Kansai Thru pass, JR is just a further 5 min walk away) in the heart of the city, it is convenient for shopping and dining. Strolling to Himeji Castle is about 20 mins away, and makes for a great

Exceptional”
Nice room, quite large for business hotel standards. Noisy because the window gave on the train platform, so of course, very close to the station. No bed light, I had to use the main light (too bright) to read before sleeping.

Very much enjoyed my stay at Livemax Himeji. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was ideal for visiting the castle as well as exploring the centre of the city.

Very good”
This hotel is in really great location, 3 mins from JR Himeji station and 1 min from Sanyo station. It is also a min walk to the bus station where you can take the shuttle bus to Kansai and Osaka airport direct. The hotel staff are very helpful and English
