“Welcome drink service is a nice touch!”

Since it is still hot in the middle of summer even in September, I am very glad that cold drinks are available after check-in! It is nice to know that not only soft drinks but also alcoholic beverages such as beer and sparkling wine are available!

      “It was comfortable. Thanks!”

The entire hotel was very clean, and the rooms, including the water supply, were very clean, as if they had just been renovated. We were traveling with my elderly mother, so we were able to borrow a wheelchair and a cart that could carry a tray for the buffet, which was very helpful. The dining room was clean and the roast beef for dinner and pancakes for breakfast were all delicious. Thank you very much.

      “A hearty breakfast!”

The buffet breakfast at the Four Seasons on the second floor is amazing, with so many items to choose from that you can't decide what to have! Thai-style vermicelli soup with all the pak choi you can put in it. Shizuoka oden, chasoba, shirasu, pot-au-feu with lots of vegetables, nutritious green smoothies, etc. were all delicious and very satisfying. However, I was disappointed that while the men's bath had a sauna, the women's bath had a mist sauna, and the temperature was set at a lower level. I would like to see a morning and evening shift system so that women can also use the sauna to warm up their bodies.

“Hot springs with a chlorine smell?”

The hot spring is called "Otoho Hot Spring," but it smells so strongly of chlorine that I could not stop sneezing and running my nose. Even after taking a shower after bathing, the smell of chlorine remained, and for a while my nose was itchy and it was hard to breathe. The facilities are well equipped and clean, but the quality of the spring water was poor! It was a pity that the quality of the spring was so bad.
