Takuminoyado Yoshimatsu is located on a hill surrounded by trees and bamboo groves. It is a ryokan built in the traditional Sukiya style, an architectural form based on constructing rooms used for the tea ceremony. This hotel serves authentic Kyoto-style Japanese kaiseki dishes.

We just got back from two magical nights at Yoshimatsu and we could NOT be happier with our experience. My mother and I booked our stay at the end of a 2.5 week trip to Japan to unwind at a traditional ryokan and soak in hot springs - Yoshimatsu completely

We couldn't have been happier when arriving at Takuminoyado Yoshimatsu. It's an amazingly calm place, with a great little Japanese garden in the centre. Great for reading a book, having a beer and winding down. Service was impeccable too. We had great fun

全２１室、当日は約半数が外国人客とのことで、大浴場も空いていました。その他にいつでも使える家族風呂もあリました。朝夕食とも部屋食で、チェックインからチェックアウトまで専任の客室係が付きます。客室係の目配りと心遣いが的確で、ちょうど良い距離感の対応のお蔭でとても快適に滞在できました。部屋食も、食材、量、味、温度、提供のタイミングまで素晴らしく、夕・朝食とも、たいへん美味しくいただきました。一泊でしたが、１１時のチェックアウトまで部屋の半露天風呂も使え、静かな環境の中でゆったりとした滞在ができました。また、すぐにでも伺いたいです。

お料理大変美味しく頂戴しました。窓から書面に芦ノ湖富士山と眺めが良かったです。次回はこの位置で露天付きのお部屋がいいと思います。 仲居さんが新人で、少し話が通じにくいのが残念でした。

初めて利用させて頂きました。 母親の兄弟を連れて箱根旅行でした 海外へ行く予定が１名足を悪くしたので国内で豪勢な旅行に切り替えました。 むかしの高級旅館はこんな感じだったと思い出した旅でした 私もそれなりに大人になったので今後はこのレベルの旅館を利用しようと誓いました また是非利用させて頂きたいと思います。

“Exceptional”
Fabulous experience, would recommend to anyone wanting to experience Japanese traditional living. The staff are wonderful, food amazing and the place has a fantastic air or serenity and privacy creating a very peaceful stay.
