- Hakone Shrine: This can be reached by about a 10-minute leisurely walk through the pathway along Lake Ashi.
- Lake Ashi Cruise: The Moto-Hakone port is right in front of the hotel so you can hop on board the ship and enjoy a pleasant round-trip cruise to Hakone-en, Hakone Port and back to Moto-Hakone Port. On clear days, you can see a marvelous panorama including Komagatake and Mt. Fuji from the ship.
- Komagatake Summit: This can be reached aboard the Hakone-en ropeway. (Hakone-en is a 10-minute drive from the hotel, and can also be reached via sightseeing cruise ship from Moto-Hakone port in front of the hotel.)

Even if the outside building is ordinary, all the facilities are very beautiful : the room with view on the lake, the lobby, the bath, the restaurant room. The personnel is very helpful and nice. The location is extra ! at one minute of the pier on the lak

Very nice location to walk around and to get the boat. Rooms are olds, and should be more maintened (bathroom) for this range of price.

Not value for money. Food is ok the hotel facilities are 3rd class. The only saving grace is the location of the hotel that next to Lake Ashi. They even charge us extra for the Onsen. It is a rip off and not worth staying the 2nd time.

it is only 160m from Moto Hokone-ko. Can be reached by Pirate ship from sen-tai and tokan bus from Yumoto. the food is served in room, can view the beautiful lake ashi from room. Will visit again.
