The hotel is located along the streetcar line, about a 3-minute walk from Hakodate Station. We used the DOMIN Discount, so a non-smoking single room was half price (3,200 yen) with the coupon, and a coupon worth 2,000 yen to be used at restaurants and souvenir shops, so the room was actually 1,200 yen, a very reasonable price. The rooms are not new, but they are well cleaned and clean, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a streetcar running on the street below the room, and it was nice to hear the sound of the streetcar in the morning, which is typical of Hakodate.

The location was very convenient, just a 3-4 minute walk from JR Hakodate Station and 1 minute from the Hakodate Eki-mae streetcar stop. I stayed with no meal, so I went to Hakodate Asaichi for breakfast. It was very close and very convenient. The hotel is a 10-story building, and I stayed on the 9th floor, the top floor of the guest rooms, which faced the Port of Hakodate and had a nice view from the window.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel given the price paid I didn't expect too much. Hotel is old but acceptable. We arrived around 11am and the hotel checked us into our room which was great. Hotel location is around Hakodate train station.

“cheap”
Hakodate Station is within 5 minutes and the Kanamori warehouse is less than 10 minutes away. My car was a box car and could not park in the indoor parking lot, so the attendant came quickly and directed me to the building across the street. I arrived before 3:00 p.m. and was immediately shown to my room. After checking out, we were able to leave our car in the parking lot until 1pm to do some sightseeing. There was complimentary coffee and tea service next to the front desk. We were satisfied but disappointed that there was no humidifier in the room. There was no large bathroom, but there were two bath salts, so we could relax.
