Very friendly, older gentleman runs the place. Saw no one else there so very quiet. Speaks no English so communicated through sign language. Clean but older building. Only issue was toilet bowl was sideways in a small room so you had to sit sideways on the

“また来たい”
今や数少ない遊郭建築、文化財として大変貴重なお宿です。ここはいつか来たいと思っていました。手入れされた中庭を回廊が囲み、その二階は手摺だけの開放的な造りで珍しい様式です。そこに佇んでいると、綺麗どころの絹擦れの音や、人々の笑い声や歓声が聞こえてくるようで、すっかりタイムスリップ。同行の娘が非常な興味を示し、長時間ご主人からいろいろな話を聞かせていただきました。ありがとうございました。建物の維持にはご苦労も多いことでしょうが、ぜひ守り続けて下さい。

“どこか懐かしさを感じるお宿です。”
築１００年、荻市の景観重要建造物に指定されている歴史あるお宿だけに、古さは否めませんが、どこか懐かしさを感じるお宿。中庭をぐるっと囲むように配置されている部屋は清潔感のあるどこか懐かしいお部屋。ご主人様がとても親切。朝ごはんもとっても美味しくいただきました！
