Hotel looks good but room was big but old and sparse. The toilet is poor. Staff is courteous but speaks little English. Food was below my expectation. Onsen was average but run down. Overall a 2-3star experience.

The walls were very thin, as may be typical to Ryokan. As a result, despite wearing earplugs, I was woken by guests in the hallway on the first night and 2 guests nextdoor at 3am for an hour on the second night. Aside from this there is little to complain

Three of us were given a very spacious room with balcony and good view. Room is comfortable, and I like the design that bathroom, shower and water basin are separated. Most of the staff do not speak English, the Reception staff kept speaking Japanese to me
