      “宿泊出来る温泉付き文化財”

      樅峰苑は雄物川に面した強首（コワクビ）地区にある地元の名主の邸宅として１９１７年に建てられた登録有形文化財である。「強首」とは河川の渦巻く地の意味で、水害が多かった事が地名の由来となっている。石油採掘時に温泉が発掘され、１９６６年に温泉宿として営業を開始している。温泉はほのかに油の香りのする褐色の濃厚なお湯で、食事は地元の川カニ料理や鯉の甘露煮など郷土料理が楽しめる。

      歴史を感じるお宿の建物に感動。 そして川蟹や味噌など地元の食材を堪能できました。 温泉は鉄分の効果なのか不思議なくらい、 あとからじわじわ温まなります。
