This place is located right by the harbour, about 5-10mins walk from the train station. You get great sunrise view from your seaside room. The slight downside is a little bit of an older rooms, but the rooms were clean. The Onsen is great. This was our 2nd

Location is good , easily walk from Beppu station. Room size is enough for family and group of friend with fully equipped. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Food course is great as well as onzen.

The Japanese room is a little old, but is HUGE! and the sea view is amazing! The Staff are great.

長年クラス会で利用させていただいていますが、今回は京都から帰省した息子と嫁のご両親が利用しました。立地も温泉を含む館内施設も大変満足したと言われて、とても嬉しく思っています。また、帰るときには、大女将からのご挨拶もいただき、老舗の宿の風格を感じたと話していましたの。今後も家族、同級会で利用させていただきます。

“Good old Beppu Onsen”
I have used this hotel many times and not one front desk person here has had bad customer service. The male front desk clerk this time was also very friendly. The building is old, but it is well cleaned so I don't mind. Relaxing on tatami mats, looking out the large window at the sea and sky of Beppu, and soaking in a hot spring bath with free-flowing hot-spring water, this is what you can expect from Beppu Onsen. This is what Beppu Onsen is all about. Breakfast was a buffet and exceeded my expectations compared to the room rate. Beppu Bay crapes, hot spring eggs, steamed vegetables from hell, kabosu juice, and many other local delicacies were served. For the price of this breakfast, I was worried that the hotel might not be able to make a profit. Many of the newer hotels these days use circulating hot water, but this one has a luxurious old-fashioned free-flowing hot-spring water system. The lotion, milky lotion, towels, massage machines, etc. that used to be placed in the changing rooms have been removed, and the lack of anything in the changing rooms has made me feel a little sad as someone who knows the old days.
