“Maybe it's a hassle.”
I was disappointed that the food was "gourmet food from Oita Prefecture, full of Bungo sea and mountains," but it was totally different from what I had imagined. I was looking forward to seafood since I was in Beppu, but the sashimi was not fresh, and the appearance and texture were not good. The tempura was hot, but there were no prawns, only about four wakasagi (smelt). Why wakasagi? The meat consisted of about three small cubes of stewed meat and Achilles? I was surprised to see a small cubes of meat and a small piece of Achilles? I wanted to eat proper meat. I wanted to eat proper meat. The number of dishes was quite a lot, but the ingredients were so poor that I was not excited. The room was very spacious, with two beds on tatami mats, and the room bath was hot spring. However, both the room and the bath were in full view of the promenade right in front of us, and we had to keep the curtains closed the whole time because we were worried about being seen. It was the same in the dining room, and it was the worst because pedestrians in front of us could see where we were eating. I felt like I had been let down. Although the price was 10,000 yen cheaper with the Oita travel discount, I regret that I would have preferred another place for the same amount of money.
