Classic ryokan that is about 10 minutes' drive from Otaru town. Great place to stay for a traditional experience, but only if you are driving.

Room is too small for 4 guests, Hot Springs/Baths need some renovation and outdoor spa is too small.

旭川方面の積雪量が０ｃｍになったこともあり夏タイヤで向かいましたが、８ｋｍ 手前辺りから道路上に雪が表れました。ホテル周辺は真冬の様相でチェックアウト事は道路を含め完全に真冬の様相でした。 部屋の空調は効きすぎで暑かったので窓を少し開けていました。 ロビー奥の喫茶コーナーではコーヒー紅茶等がフリーで利用できました。 浴槽、泉質は多彩で温泉好きには素晴らしい環境です。

Nice and comfortable onsens. Food was alright. No wow factor. Staff in general are friendly. However, hotel does not provide typical Japan onsen welcome service standard.
