This temple lodging is located almost right in the center of Koyasan. Over the years, many haiku poets - Basho and Kyoshi, to name a couple - have stayed here. Travelers are welcome to experience the deep history and culture of Koyasan at Fugenin.

Nice rooms, tasty food and very friendly staff. Allow to join the morning ceremony and give you also a short tour.

金剛峰寺と奥の院方面との分岐点の千手院橋バス停近くにある交通至便な宿坊です。朝のお勤めのあと仏舎利拝観が出来るのが特色ですが、浴場は最近改装されて綺麗ですしシャンプーとリンスが別になったのが置かれています。しかし何よりもお客をもてなす気持ちに溢れているさまがよくわかり、団体客が２組あるにも関わらず個人客に殆ど迷惑が係らないような接客をして頂けました。また高野山を訪れる際には宜しくお願いします。
