We received our return Nizomi Shinkasen tickets from Tokyo to Hiroshima and hotel confirmations by courier at our address in Tokyo on schedule. Everything was well organized and we were fully satisfied with all arrangements made by JapaniCAN for our trip.

This was our first trip as a family in Japan. The hotel RIGHA Royal was fabulous! They were able to provide a crib for us and there is a mini-fridge and a hot water kettle for use in the room. Hiroshima is a beautiful city and the hotel was right in the middle of all the tourist sites so we were able to walk to everything. The Atomic Bomb dome and peace park were 800m, Hiroshima Castle was 600m and the art museum was 300m. The food was delicious. Okonomi-mura was about 800m away so we were able to walk there for dinner. Hiroshima Station is only a 800 yen cab ride away from the hotel. The time for the train tickets was a bit late for us on the way home (getting to Tokyo station at 9:00pm) since we had the baby, but we made it work. I would definitely recommend this tour!

we got the documents (Shinkansen tickets and accommodation details) right on time, with clear explanations and tips. we were even surprised to get in the hotel a free pass for one day streetcar ride, even though we did not see it in the itinerary... the hotel was as expected - not more nor less - a great location, fair small room - just enough for 2 nights.

This tour is unaccompanied and self guided. The train arrangements for leaving Tokyo are superb. The hotel in Hiroshima (Grand Prince) is okay - you can read Tripadvisor reviews for more information. The hotel is too far from town and not close to anything. The food is okay and overpriced -- you have no other real options since nothing is close to it. However, the staff is very nice and the views from the upper floors are beautiful. It was nice to have the train and hotel accommodations taken care of in this package but in hindsight, knowing the hotel location, I would try to get the hotel and train reservations separately.

I have rated "schedule" at 4 stars as we found it difficult as non speaking Japanese to arrive back into Tokyo at 2100hrs and then have to spend another 11/2 hours on local trains to return to our accommodation. Whilst waiting for our return Nozomi we noted that there were many other trains departing for Tokyo which would have got us home much earlier. The New Hiroden room was very comfortable, the restaurant was well presented and the Staff service was prompt and efficient, the menu was expansive and the food was excellent. The reception Staff were very polite and worked hard to understand our English and forfil our requests. I would be most happy to repeat our tour as it was again.

This was a great bargain. We had 10am tickets on the Nozomi, which is the fastest bullet train. The hotel was great - away from the city center and right on the beach. We had a room with a view of the ocean and were able to take the high-speed ferry to Miyajima. The restaurants in the hotel were pricey, but we found great meals in downtown Hiroshima and on Miyajima. The breakfast buffet at the hotel (Grand Prince Hotel) was very nice and the view was incredible.
