[Nov. 10 - Nov. 30] 1-Day Korankei Valley Autumn Foliage Illumination & Obara Shikizakura Cherry Blossom Viewing Bus Tour (Round-trip from Nagoya)

    • Guide
    • Walking

    1. Take this charter bus tour for a hassle-free visit to the Momiji Festival at Korankei, a valley renowned as the most picturesque autumn leaf spot in the Nagoya area. An English- and Chinese-speaking tour conductor will accompany participants for a worry-free tour. And for November 13-21, there will also be an accompanying Thai-speaking staff member.
    2. Enjoy the views of 11 types of Japanese maple and ginkgo trees totaling around 4,000 trees in all, which show their fall colors in red, gold, and green. This scenery is paired with an illumination creating a fantastical view along with shrines, temples, and food stalls.
    3. Operation guaranteed from just 1 participant on all dates. Korankei Valley is located out of the way and would take over 2 hours to reach by public transportation with transfers. But on this tour, participants can enjoy an entire day visiting not only Korankei Valley, but also Kokeizan Eiho-ji Temple, Obara with its shikizakura cherry blossoms, and the Toki Premium Outlet where they can do some shopping.
    4. The garden of Kokeizan Eiho-ji Temple - built around 700 years ago - is designated as a national site of scenic beauty. In that garden, you can see magnificent autumn leaves. In addition, on this tour, you enjoy the invaluable experience of seeing cherry blossoms - the iconic symbol of Japan in April - in November!
    5. Also, go shopping at the Premium Outlets, an outlet mall well known for its locations in the United States, Malaysia, and elsewhere. Those with lots of luggage have nothing to worry about, as this tour uses a charter bus. Participants will also receive an original present available only on this tour, as well as a food coupon.

Half-day National Treasure Inuyama Castle & Town Tour with National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter (Round Trip from Nagoya)

    • Guide
    • Walking

    1. Take a trip to the outskirts of Nagoya and see Inuyama Castle, one of Japan's five castles with National Treasure structures, along with a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter.
    2. Customers on this tour will use public transportation and learn more about the history, culture, and way of life of the local people. As this is a half-day tour, it is recommended for those staying in Nagoya for sightseeing or business trips, and those who plan on going to Takayama, Kyoto, Tokyo or other places after the tour.
    3. National Treasure Inuyama Castle is the oldest existing castle with a wooden main keep in Japan, and also has exhibits of relics such as armor and folding screens inside. The view from the castle keep is breathtaking. Cherry blossoms bloom in early April, and autumn leaves are best seen in mid-November. (From mid-July until the end of December 2019, most of the castle keep may not be seen due to conservation and repair work. Visitors may access the top floor of the castle keep, but some areas may be restricted depending on the work progress.)
    4. Sanko Inari Shrine features a line of red torii gates and has been worshipped as the guardian deity protecting the lord of Inuyama Castle throughout the generations. This is also a popular photo spot. It's thought that worshipping here will bring household harmony and prosperity in business, and money washed in the pool of water is said to come back many fold over.
    5. In the castle town which features many historical structures, experience Inuyama Festival which is registered as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, or grab a snack at a goheimochi (rice cake) shop.
