Thoughtfully planned tour; the buffet lunch at the Gajoen hotel—apart from being a great meal in & of itself—was an excellent way to charge up in preparation for exploring the Ghibli museum. The hotel itself set the mood perfectly for the rest of the tour, particularly for fans of SPIRITED AWAY. The open air architectural exhibit was a fine way to wind down by providing a taste of the historic realities that inspired Hayao Miyazaki to create. Knocked a star off the schedule simply because while the three places chosen for the tour complement each other quite well & provided a nicely rounded experience, & most people might think 2 hours for the Ghibli Museum plenty, i for one simply could not get enough of it, & would have gladly spent the entire day just wandering around the museum, soaking it in. Thanks to the tour organizers, our excellent guide, and driver!
