I LOVED THIS TOUR!!! Actually, I woudn't know how to get tickets to the museum otherwise. For Japanese residents you have to book months in advance and it's still a lottery system, totally random. You can't be there all day, the tour tickets are conditional to after 3:00pm, but still worth it in my opinion! There was quite a bit of driving, but the tour guide, Miki, tried her best to take the best route according to the traffic. Just because of the time limit and the shear amount of people in the museum, you really have to get it in gear to be able to see everything, or mostly everything, and the theater, and THEN the gift shop, and if you still have time, to eat or drink something at the cafe. Drinking a beer at the end was one of the most satisfying moments in my life, Yes, Ghibli has it's own beer, I drank "Kaze no Tani red ale",(Valley of the Wind red ale), it was good! I feel that Sunrise Tours really built a bond of trust with Ghibli, and this tour greatly impressed me.
