  • 400th anniversary of Tokugawa Ieyasu

    In July of 2015, the Nirayama Reverberatory Furnaces, a symbol of Japan's modernization, were inscribed as a World Heritage site. In 2014, Japan's "Southern Alps" were also named a UNESCO "eco park."
