Great facilities and service! There are four rotating hot spring baths, two per gender at all times, which let us try all the spaces. Breakfast had a lot of options and the room was bright airy and spacious. Location was central to the trains, food, bars, etc. The building is modern looking but with classic/traditional ryokan touches.

The room had bad smell. Actually even hall way was stinky. Breakfast was terrible. Nothing to eat. It was located near nishiki market.

We had a wonderful experience at this ryokan. We enjoyed fully attentive services, exceptional meals at night, and the ryokan is only minutes away from Nishiki Market on foot. Would definitely recommend this ryokan.

Location is perfect in the city center and the public baths are well decorated in Japanese style. Employees are very welcoming.
But this place is not a ryokan as the name seems to precise, more than 30 rooms, so the private atmosphere as we expect in a ryokan is not really here. It's hard to find someone speaking English, hard to believe
for this standing.
Rooms are quite good, except the bathroom very basic.
We had the Japanese style and western style breakfast : for western we had fried chicken (nuggets) and French fries (pasta salad, soup also), not really our taste at 8 am. No yogurt or cereals.
Instead of Japanese breakfast containing local food as sushi and sashimi.
Rates are very expansive.

An excellent compromise to visit Kyoto during 4 or 5 days. Ryokan Kazuki is a Ryokan with Japanese style rooms and beautify I do and outdoor baths but allows you to have dinner outside and to choose western style breakfast. Location is excellent, in the centre of Kyoto, calm and vey close to subway and animation by foot (Nhisiki market, Kawamarashi)
