This is a hot spring ryokan in the temple town for Kotohira-gu, a Shinto shrine dedicated to a god of the sea, where the abundant countenance of the four seasons can be seen. From the open-air baths, guests can see cherry blossoms in the spring, fresh verdure in the summer, and autumn leaves in the fall.

For dinner, guests can enjoy Japanese cuisine prepared by the head chef who placed second in the Skill Grand Prix. Every year, during the spring, there are Kabuki performances. The oldest Kabuki small theater in Japan is approximately 200m away.
