Our one-night stay 2 weeks ago was truly OUTSTANDING!!! The owner Kodani-san and his wife personally anticipated our needs, going out of the way to make for us an unforgettable visit. When he realised we would not have time to visit the nearby Tottori sand dunes, he asked his wife to drive us there for a 3-hour excursion. On her own accord, she showed us Koyama pond. Next morning, while waiting to fetch us to the train-station, the couple performed a traditional folkdance, with Kodani-san playing on a 3-string instrument. In all our travels, we have yet to receive such lavish hospitality. Truly, Japan can take pride in her unrivalled coutesies.
This ryokan is well-worth a repeat visit.
