When we arrived at this place, it felt like they hadn't seen a foreigner since 1987. The hotel is pretty big, and it seemed like the kind of place where old Japanese people go to relax over the weekend. The service was very friendly, and the hot springs (incl private baths) had great views over the inland sea. The food was good, and the room spacious - although our ocean view meant view of the factory down the coast. In the evening, the reception staff put on a taiko drum show, which was pretty entertaining.
