5.0/5 BEST REVIEW

by loveJapan United Kingdom / 20 Oct 2019

Our experience was fantastic. The room was incredibly authentic and in a peaceful and beautiful surrounding in Koyasan. The early morning Buddhist prayers were a new experience and the food hands down was some of the most impressive we had in Japan, all vegan and very tasty which was impressive! The service was excellent and everyone was so polite and helpful. Highly recommend coming here for an authentic experience of Koyasan (the train here is also so picturesque!)

Enjoy peace of mind listening to the chirping of birds, the rustling of leaves and the sound of water dripping into the pond. Enjoy dinner from private dining rooms with views of the garden. Have breakfast in a dining room or at a table in the shoin (traditional study hall) (built 450 years ago). After the morning Buddhist religious service, English guides introduce Mt. Koya to guests. Please note rooms do not have private baths.
