2620 Yoshinoyama, Yoshino-cho, Yoshino-gun, Nara Prefecture

by Momo Singapore / 03 Jun 2018

The old ladies running this ryokan were very friendly and eager to serve even if they didn't speak a lot of English. Since the ropeway was down, they drove us from and to Yoshino train station (when you arrive the station master will call Sakoya to come). The room was clean and comfortable, and needless to say the food was fantastic. Lastly there's free flow sake at the shared outdoor bath! It's a bit difficult to contact them though, especially without phone talktime for tourists. Do note that the hot water in the room will take some time to arrive from the boiler.
