Veda京町家の宿 吠陀

1-235 Yakushi-cho, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto

An old Kyoto Townhouse with around 110 years of history, which has been maintained in its traditional form. The building was picked in a project entitled "the buildings and gardens which make Kyoto attractive". The entire 1st floor of this beautiful house is available for rent by 1 group at a time. There are 3 rooms surrounding a small courtyard garden: 2 Japanese-style rooms, and 1 dining/kitchen space. The house is a little bit different to a hotel, and only offers simple accommodation. Meals can either be taken out, or guests can buy food at a local supermarket and make use of the kitchen/dining space. The following are available for guests to use: a fridge, a toaster, a microwave, pots & pans, air con, air purifiers, towels, a washing machine, toothbrushes and Wi-Fi. Situated in an area with easy access to the rest of the city, this is the perfect spot for sightseeing in Kyoto. The owner offers a tour of townhouses in the area, those interested should enquire beforehand.
