- About 1 hour by car from Kanazawa. Located in Yamanaka Onsen, which has been open for 1,300 years, this is an elegant hot spring lodging along the scenic area of Kakusenkei Gorge.
- It is a new Japanese resort that offers a unique restaurant that serves Kaga cuisine and teppanyaki, has natural hot springs, guestrooms with open-air baths, the first authentic spa in the area, and more.

- Guestrooms are primarily Japanese-style rooms that feature tatami flooring.
- Guestrooms with open-air hot spring baths are available in 2 types: Japanese-style rooms and Japanese/Western-style rooms equipped with Simmons beds.
- There are a variety of guestroom types, including modern Japanese-style rooms with gardens, guestrooms next to the mountain stream, guestrooms next to the quiet mountains, and more.
- Guestroom amenities include yukata, pajamas, tabi socks, hot spring hopping drawstring bags, an aroma pot and some recommended aroma oil, bath towels, face towels, tooth brushes, hair brushes, hair dryers, and more.

- The hot springs feature not only the large communal baths (with indoor baths, open-air baths, and saunas), but also 3 varieties of private baths and a 24 hour foot bath for guests to enjoy.
- The large communal hot spring bath has 2 areas with varying charm, and because they are changed between genders in the morning and evening, guests can enjoy them both.
- The private baths feature 3 charming types: a cypress bath, a rock bath, and a stone bath. Reservations are taken at the front desk on the day on a first come, first served basis.

- There are 3 restaurants available.
- The Kaga cuisine restaurant Benihana has an open kitchen and is known for its Kaga cuisine and all-you-can-eat freshly fried tempura.
- The teppanyaki restaurant Aotake features amusing cooking performances by the chef that unfold right before your eyes.
- The Kaga restaurant Chihiro - exclusive to guests in guestrooms with open-air baths - features chair and table seating, Kutani ceramic ware and Yamanaka lacquer ware serving dishes, and special kaiseki course meals.

- The lodging also has a spa decorated with Kutani ceramic ware and Kaga Yuzen dyed works.
- The spa also has treatments that use gold leaf from Ishikawa Prefecture which accounts for more than 90% of gold leaf production in Japan.

- There are also a variety of free services.
- In the lobby, there is tea and coffee (7:00 - 18:00).
- At the teppanyaki restaurant, there are freshly made pancakes (14:30 - 16:00).
- After a soak in the baths, guests can enjoy cold barley tea (14:00 - 18:00), as well as a beer in the evening (16:00 - 18:00) or cold tokoroten jelly strips in the morning (6:30 - 9:00).
- Each service is provided at their set times.

- Free Wi-Fi is equipped in all guestrooms, the lobby, and restaurants.
- The traditional “Yamanaka-Bushi Night” performance is held every day (from 20:45).
- Guests can enjoy the singing and dancing performance by the Yamanaka geisha of Yamanakaza Hall free of charge.

- Along the nearby Yuge Kaido Street, in addition to hot spring egg-making experiences, there are galleries for Kutani ceramic ware and Yamanaka lacquer ware, shops that sell sweet dumplings or croquettes, cafes, and more lined side by side. And along the ravine running parallel to the street, there is also a 1.3 kilometer promenade, where guests can enjoy strolls of Kakusenkei Gorge.
- For those with a car, this is a convenient location for visiting Eihei-ji Temple (40 minutes away), Kanazawa and its dinosaur museum (1 hour away), and the World Heritage Sites of Gokayama and Shirakawago (2 hours away).
- There is also a free shuttle from Kagaonsen Station (closest station). From Kanazawa it is just 25 minutes via a limited express train, making travel quite convenient. (For details, please refer to Access Info)
