Hotel Senjojikiホテル千畳敷

1 Akaho, Komagane-shi, Nagano Prefecture

4.3/5 BEST REVIEW

by Nicklancer Singapore / 19 Mar 2018

An aged hotel located in a beautiful mountain. Please take into account getting there via bus and ropeway into your budget and plan. A suggestion to the hotel is to refurbish the room and perhaps provide complimentary or discounted ticket to get to the hotel.

  • Internet Available

Hotel Senjojiki stands on Japan's highest ground. Senjojiki Curl, located at an altitude of 2,612 meters, can be reached by route bus from the Suganodai Bus Center or by ropeway from the JR Iida Line Komagane Station, gateways to the Central Alps.
This hotel is situated next to the ropeway summit station, offering the most stunning panoramic views of the Central Alps right before your eyes.
Be amazed by a breathtaking view of a sea of clouds beneath. See the lovely alpine plants and steep rocks glow in brilliant contrast with the deep blue sky as the sun shines on them in the short summer, and relish in the gorgeous view of vivid reds and yellows carpeting the mountains as you come down from the summit to the base in autumn.
And in the cold winter, be overwhelmed by spectacular views of a silent, silvery white world as seen from the summit.

If using 2 or more guestrooms, please contact the hotel by email after reserving 1 room, and inquire about reserving the desired number of rooms.
*Note that not all requests can be fulfilled.

Ropeway operation may be suspended due to inclement weather. In this case, it may be impossible for guests to reach the summit where the place of lodging is located. Instead, guests will be guided to a different accommodation. Please inform us of a phone number where you may be reached on the day. (Especially in cases of extremely bad weather.)

❏ Save 48% compared to regular fares with this bus pass! A must-buy for travelers headed to the Chubu area of Japan!
