The food was excellent and was so plentiful, I was so full after dinner and breakfast and there was still some leftover food. The staff can speak a limited English but it was enough to get by. The service was excellent and they tried their hardest to communicate to you in English. The baths were exquisite. I spent most the time soaking in the baths because there's literally nothing else to do but soak given the Onsen remote location. The location is a bit hard to get to because to have to catch a train and then 2 buses to get to the place but it's doable. But because the location is so remote you do have this sense of feeling that you were removed from the outside world and just immersed yourself in nature and the baths. If you like to soak in hotsprings and have a quiet night or two away from civilisation this place is for you.
