It was a wondenful stay in every way. Amazing dinner and breakfast. We had the private onsen bath as well. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were greeted in our own room when we checked in. All the drinks in the fridge were complimentary. There was also a lounge serving complimentary drinks although we were too full after dinner. We cannot fault the meals, the room or the service.
Suizantei Club Jozankei and Jozankei Daiichi Hotel Suizantei belong to the same owner, but the Club is much more quiet and exclusive (and more expensive). We caught the bus from the New Chitose airport and got off at the Daiichi Hotel. A van then took us to the Club. For the free shuttle to Sapporo, a van took us to Daiichi Hotel. However, we were the last two passengers of a packed bus, and we struggled to get into the backseats. This was probably the only complaint we have as it did spoil the otherwise faultless experience. We do appreciate that the shuttle was complementary.
