We spent one amazing night at Pension Raclette. We arrived after 3 and the daylight almost died down due to the drizzling weather. The place is on a little hill not far from the train station just a short taxi ride or you can just walk there if weather allows. It's right next to the attraction Hoshino Skiing and the delicate lavender farm Tomita. The room was clean and cozy and the shared bathrooms were downstairs. During my stay it was not crowded at all with every details looking warm and cozy. The view from dining room was breath taking, and we all loved the western food they prepared. The lady owner just looked like a character from Miyazaki's cartoon. She was so kind that she gave us a ride back to train station and on the way there she even offered a detour to the attractions after she knew we didn't get a chance to visit anywhere. We greeted the donkey Lette, the dog Maru and a new born kitten. What a lovely place. Definitely coming back, on a sunny day tho.
