The location is very convenient, only 3 minutes walk from Sapporo JR Station, and we didn't have to walk on hot summer road (we went there in summer), but we can pass through a convenient air conditioned corridor along the path from the station to the hote

Very friendly staff, ranging from fluent to "manages to get by" with English. Went a step beyond when my error during reservations resulted with two of us sharing a room with one bed: They cheerfully searched for & found a futon so we didn't have to share
