The staff and the open-air bath by the river were both excellent! I have been to many hot spring resorts in the past, but I highly recommend this one. If you are tired of ordinary ryokan, please go there. My daughter, who hates bugs, was scared because it is in the middle of nature, but you can enjoy the excitement of going down the old stairs, bathing while looking at the river, and the easy door to the women's bath. Thank you very much!

施設は古いですが綺麗にしており快適でした。露天風呂も混浴の方は最高ですが、８０段の階段を降りていくのは結構キツイです。いいお風呂なので何回も入りたいけれど躊躇します。階段も歴史が感じられるのは良いですが、急で段差があるところは浴衣では大変でした。スタッフの外国の方がとても丁寧な対応で好感が持てました。お世話になりました。

先日は大変お世話になりました。 ずっと行きたいと思っていた「露天風呂」でしたので、とても嬉しかったです。 当日は雨の影響で途中から露天風呂に入れなくなったのが残念でした！ 建物は古いなりに、部屋なども綺麗にされていて角部屋だったのでとても広く、不満はありませんでした。しいて言えば、部屋の温度調整が個別で出来ればいいと思います。食事は朝、夕とも食べきれない程の量でした。温かい物は冷めたりせずに食べれましたし、美味しい食事ですね！！ スタッフの方々には親切にして頂き、とても気持ち良く過ごす事が出来ました！ また機会がありましたら宜しくお願いします！違う季節にも行ってみたいです。

“It was nice to feel like a secluded hot spring.”
It was close to the main street of Shiobara, yet quite tasteful, and the spring water was good with two different types of springs. The open-air bath was along the river, 88 steps down a wooden staircase, and the bathtub was made of hollowed out stone, which was tasteful, and the surrounding scenery was very delicious. However, I think the drawbacks are that there is no washing area in the open-air bath and that it takes a lot of strength to go up and down the stairs.
