The hotel has a "English service" tag, but there seemed to be only one English speaking staff who I only got in contact with once on the phone. No staff at the site spoke fluent English. There was one Chinese attendant but I'm not sure whether she just worked there part-time. The facilities seem to have been built at 1980s, but functioning well.
The room I booked was of traditional Japanese style, and dinner was full-scale Japanese cuisine, very impressive experience.
As for transportation, the hotel offers shuttle bus service from JR Nara Station to the hotel, running at 15:00 and 17:00 from the East Exit Bus Stop Zone of the station, though you have to make yourself understood by the attendants first.
