Located close to Hakone Yumoto Station, it features natural hot spring baths supplied with water right from the source which are open 24 hours a day. This classical Japanese-style ryokan is a registered tangible cultural property as designated by the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs. In the interest of preserving the building, the 18 guest rooms are not equipped with bathing facilities or toilets to avoid water damage.

By car: Exit Odawara-Atsugi Road from Hakoneguchi IC and take Hakone Shindo for about 17 km (about 25 min), then Prefectural Route 75 for about 2 km (about 5 min). Landmark: Hakone Sekisho-ato.
