From Urasa Station (JR Jo-etsu Shinkansen): Take the JR Jo-etsu Line train bound for Nagaoka and get off at Koide Station (about 10 minutes). Then take the JR Tadami Line train to Echigo-Suhara Station (about 20 minutes). About 3 minutes on foot from there.
By car: Exit the Kan-etsu Expressway at Koide IC and continue along Route 17 for about 5 minutes (3 km), then Route 252 for about 10 minutes (12 km). Head towards Sumon-mura Important Cultural Property Meguro-tei.

From Urasa Station (JR Joetsu Shinkansen): Take the JR Joetsu Line train bound for Nagaoka and get off at Koide Station (approx. 8 min). Take the Minami Echigo Kotsu bus bound for Oyu/Tochiomata Onsen and get off at Oyu Onsen. About 7 min on foot from there.
By car: Exit the Kan-etsu Expressway at the Koide IC and continue along Route 291 and then along Route 352. Landmark: Oyu Onsen ski resort.
