Then take an Ueda Kotsu Bessho route bus to each ryokan and get off at the Bessho Onsen bus stop (about 5 minutes). It is about 8 minutes on foot from there. Alternatively, tell the hotel of arrival at Ueda Station before and they will pick guests up.
By car: Exit the Joshin-etsu Expressway at the Ueda-Sugadaira IC and continue along National Route 18 for about 20 minutes (10 km), then Prefectural Route Bessho Line for about 20 minutes (10 km).
