Chikurakan
Chikura is a Japanese ryokan and has a history of about 100 years. The Chikura Onsen is a hot spring with a history of about 1,000 years, and there is a legend that Minamoto no Yoritomo, a general at the time, healed his wounds in the hot spring.
Chikura is written with the characters for 'thousand' and 'warehouse' and was named as such because previously, fishing was prosperous and there were more than 1,000 warehouses for storing marine products.

Chikura is located in a hot spring region approximately 2.5 hours away from Narita and Tokyo Station by car. And it is a relatively short drive from tourist locations like Disneyland (about 2 hours), Misui Outlet Park Kisarazu (about 1.5 hours), and Mother Farm (about 1 hour).

In the spring, visitors can visit Tateyama Castle and the Cherry Blossom Festival at Awa Shrine, gather bamboo shoots in Miyoshi Village, or go clamming in Futtsu or Kisarazu.
In the summer, visitors can enjoy a variety of marine sports (surfing, diving, canoeing, yachting, jet-skiing, and more) and summer festivals.
In the fall, there is mandarin orange picking, autumn leaves at Komatsu-ji Temple, and fall festivals. And in winter, there is strawberry and flower picking, as well as illumination at various theme parks.

These and more are available for visitors to enjoy.
