From Arita Station (JR Sasebo Line): Take the Matsuura Railway Line train bound for Imari and get off at Imari Station (about 20 minutes). The hotel is about 1 minute from the station on foot.

From Fukuoka Airport: Take the bus bound for Imari at Fukuoka Airport Terminal and get off at Imari (about 120 minutes). It takes about 10 minutes on foot, or 5 minutes by taxi from there.
By car: Exit the Nagasaki Expressway at Takeo-Kitagata IC and continue along Route 498 for about 25 minutes (20 km), then Route 202 for about 5 minutes (2 km).

By car: Exit the Nagasaki Expressway at Takeo-Kitagata IC and continue along Route 34 for about 9 min (4 km), then city roads for about 1 min (less than 1 km). Head towards Takeo Onsen Romon.

Yumotoso Toyokan
Established 380 years ago, this hotel was once appointed by the Tokugawa Government in Edo as an official hotel for the feudal lords of the Sankinkotai system. It is said that after a famous duel on Ganryu Island, the great swordsman Miyamoto Musashi (1584-1645) worked out a detailed plan for the "Gorin no sho," ("A Book of Five Rings," a book of military tactics) while staying here.

From Fukuoka Airport: Take the subway to Hakata Station. Then, take the JR Sasebo Line bound for Sasebo and get off at Takeoonsen Station (about 60 min). It is about 10 min on foot or 3 min by taxi from the North Exit.
By car: Exit the Nagasaki Expressway at Takeo-Kitagata IC and continue along Route 34 for about 8 km (about 8 min).
